It was May 1939, when 18-year-old Koos van der Beek started and converted the garage in his parents’ backyard into a warehouse. A warehouse that would later grow into one of the oldest and most welcoming hairdressing wholesalers in the Netherlands.

Koosvanderbeek.nl wanted to move away from the limitations within Lightspeed and was looking for a more flexible and scalable solution. Shopify offers the freedom to work with a broad ecosystem of apps and integrations, without being tied to one platform.

As the very first customer, Koosvanderbeek.nl chose a self-served migration using the Syncer onboarding dashboard.
